Newman Apostolate Internship

Every academic year, we offer our Newman Apostolate Internship for students who are passionate about being a leader within our student community, while serving their peers and the Muncie Pastorate. This is truly a privileged position and acceptance is determined through an application and interview process. 

Components of the internship:

Receiving 

• Daily prayer with household
• Formation with mentor 
• Daily mass 2-3 times per week  
• Community living
• Free housing with a small semester fee

Giving

• Participate in Sunday Supper with a missionary spirit; assist with clean-up as needed
• Attend student Adoration on Wednesday evenings
• Participate in other Cardinal Catholic events as schedule allows
• Provide 6-8 hours of pastorate work: grounds keeping, administration, ministry work with pastorate staff 
• Volunteer once per month at the Knights of Columbus Bingo Hall
